Running and hiking

6th December, Salomon 10km trail run.

Harder than I expected - narrow trail at some parts, didn't know how to overtake without falling terribly, but it was good fun. Ray Mun was so nice to run with me all the way.

Time: 1 hour 39 mins.

Smartly flushed my shoelaces down the toilet while washing them the next day =(

12th December, bersesat di Gunung Angsi, N.S.

Elevation 800+m, relatively easy climb. We showed that pakcik that city kids know how to climb mountains!

4 hours up, 3 hours down.

Purple beret

Holiday project #2: Purple beret, pattern from Garnstudio.

Lesson learned: Never knit when you are about to fall asleep. I started this straight after finishing Sidewinder, and when I was supposed to increase the lace pattern everything went wrong. Frogged nearly 5 hours of work and had to start over the next day.

(Frog in knit lingo means to unravel one's work. Rib it, rib it -.-)
