This was the first recipe I tried out from Daring Bakers.

People who can take beautiful pictures documenting each step and bake at the same time amaze me. I tried to take a few pictures (RJ helped too) but decided that gloating to the peoples at home via webcam would be more satisfying :)

Apparently this is what smooth, sexy, elastic dough looks like:

With the filling: meringue, cinnamon sugar, chocolate bits and pecans. Vanilla in meringue smells heavenly!

Made the first loaf according to instructions.

Tried to be smart for the second one so it turned out looking like this.

The back pain from making this was worth every bit (almost)!
