The more there is to study, the more knitting I do.
1. Owls!!!!! I've wanted to knit this for the longest time, and when I was doing my GP term a couple of months back, knitting while travelling on the train (instead of reading the Oxford Clinical Handbook) seemed like a brilliant idea. Bought buttons for the eyes, but decided not to sew them on due to laziness and not wanting to look too child-like in hospital. I'll consider making another one in bright red maybe...
2. Haven - nice long scarf. Many knitters described this project as 'sex on needles'. Wasn't exactly that kind of experience for me, I have to say :P
3. Subway hat - wanted a fast project for when we go skiing. This was from the Modern Top Down Knitting that I bought over the holidays. Quirky looking- looks like someone just snipped down the back of it, and in fact the construction of this hat was based on that idea. Very warm with the fleece lining. I shan't post a picture of the lined hat here. In my haste to finish it I forgot to leave seam allowances for one side of the hat, and hat to cover it up with a leaf-shaped piece of fleece. Not the best workmanship, but hey, no one's going to see it ;)
Pictures taken with my sub-par camera.

The owls sweater looks amazing! Probably couldve gotten away with the buttons! But it looks cute without them, too :]
